 अब यह चिड़िया कहाँ रहेगी

आँधी आई जोर शोर से,डालें टूटी हैं झकोर से।
उड़ा घोंसला अंडे फूटे,
किससे दुख की बात कहेगी!
अब यह चिड़िया कहाँ रहेगी?

हमने खोला आलमारी को,
बुला रहे हैं बेचारी को।
पर वो चीं-चीं कर्राती है
घर में तो वो नहीं रहेगी!

घर में पेड़ कहाँ से लाएँ,
कैसे यह घोंसला बनाएँ!
कैसे फूटे अंडे जोड़े,
किससे यह सब बात कहेगी!
अब यह चिड़िया कहाँ रहेगी?

The storm came with a loud uproar,
The branches are broken with a tremor. 
Nest blown, eggs cracked, 
To whom the bird would express her sorrow? 

Where will this bird live now? 
We opened the cupboard, 
Calling the poor Bird
But she squawks chi chi chi......
She don't want to stay at home of humans! 

Where to get trees in the house, 
How To Build  Nest hear! 
how to add cracked eggs, 
To whom will you tell all this? 
Where will this bird live now?

चिड़ियों ने बाज़ार लगाया, एक कुंज को ख़ूब सजाया






तितली लाई सुंदर पत्ते, मकड़ी लाई कपड़े-लत्ते
बुलबुल लाई फूल रँगीले, रंग-बिरंगे पीले-नीले
तोता तूत और झरबेरी, भर कर लाया कई चँगेरी

पंख सजीले लाया मोर, अंडे लाया अंडे चोर
गौरैया ले आई दाने, बत्तख सजाए ताल-मखाने
कोयल और कबूतर कौआ, ले कर अपना झोला झउआ
करने को निकले बाज़ार, ठेले पर बिक रहे अनार

कोयल ने कुछ आम खरीदे, कौए ने बादाम खरीदे,
गौरैया से ले कर दाने, गुटर कबूतर बैठा खाने .
करे सभी जन अपना काम, करते सौदा, देते दाम
कौए को कुछ और न धंधा, उसने देखा दिन का अंधा,
बैठा है अंडे रख आगे, तब उसके औगुन झट जागे
उसने सबकी नज़र बचा कर, उसके अंडे चुरा-चुरा कर
कोयल की जाली में जा कर, डाल दिये चुपचाप छिपा कर
फिर वह उल्लू से यों बोला, 'क्या बैठ रख खाली झोला'

उल्लू ने जब यह सुन पाया 'चोर-चोर' कह के चिल्लाया
हल्ला गुल्ला मचा वहाँ तो, किससे पूछें बता सके जो
कौन ले गया मेरे अंडे, पीटो उसको ले कर डंडे
बोला ले लो नंगा-झोरी, अभी निकल आयेगी चोरी

सब लाइन से चलते आए, लेकिन कुछ भी हाथ न आये
जब कोयल की जाली आई, उसमें अंडे पड़े दिखाई
सब के आगे वह बेचारी, क्या बोले आफ़त की मारी
'हाय, करूँ क्या?' कोयल रोई, किन्तु वहाँ क्या करता कोई

आँखों मे आँसू लटकाए, बड़े हितू बन फिर बढ़ आए
बोले, 'बहिन तुम्हारी निंदा, सुन मैं हुआ बहुत शर्मिंदा’
राज-हंस की लगी कचहरी, छान-बीन होती थी गहरी
सोच विचार कर रहे सारे,न्यायधीश ने बचन उचारे -

'जो अपना ही सेती नहीं दूसरे का वह लेगी कहीं!
आओ कोई आगे आओ, देखा हो तो सच बतलाओ
रहे दूध, पानी हो पानी, बने न्याय की एक कहानी'
गौरैया तब आगे आई, उसने सच्ची बात बताई

कौए की सब कारस्तानी आँखों देखी कही ज़ुबानी
मन का भी यह कौआ काला, उसे सभा से गया निकाला
गिद्ध- सिपाही बढ़ कर आया, कौए का सिर गया मुँड़ाया
राजहंस की बुद्धि सयानी, तब से सब ने जानी मानी!               -अज्ञात


Birds set up a market, and decorate it well 
Butterfly brought beautiful leaves, 
Spider brought clothes-rags 
Bulbul Brought colourful flowers, 
Parrot brought mulberry  and Strawberry 
Did changes by filling many nuts,
  
Peacock brought feather plaques, 
egg thief(crow) brought eggs 
Sparrows brought grains, 
Ducks decorate the shop by lotus seeds

Pigeon, crow and Cuckoo,
brought their goods in satchel and basket of bamboo
and started selling their goods
Pomegranates being sold on the handcart

The cuckoo bought some mangoes, the crow bought almonds,
Grunting pigeons bought grains from sparrows, sits and started devour.
All the people do their work, do the deal, pay the price
But the crafty crow has different plan in his mind,
He saw the blind of the day (owl who is not able to see in day light)
छोटा उल्लू (खुसरा) जटमई, घटारानी के पास, गरियाबंद
Spotted Owlet Near Jatmai, Ghatarani Fall, Griyaband

He is sitting, selling eggs, and his cunning mind wakes up
Hiding from everyone's attention, stealing owl's shops eggs
Going into the cuckoo's store, hiding stolen eggs silently
Then he joked at the owl that, 'Can you sit still with empty bags'?

When the owl could hear this, it shouted loud out saying 'thief-thief' 
There was a ruckus there, who to ask, who could tell Who took eggs, 
Beat the thief with sticks and undress him, 
Everyone walked on the line, and 
Checked by soldier vultures but nothing came out
When the cuckoo's net came, eggs were seen lying in it.
That poor bird ashamed in front of everyone, 
What did she say?
 
'What shall I do?' 
The cuckoo cried, but what does anyone do there?
When she was crying , everyone consoles her said,
 'Sister all accused you, we are very embarrassed to hear'

'Raj Hans-White Goose' court, the investigation used to be deep
All are thinking what will happen, the judge said - 
 'She who does not incubus her own, she will not take someone else's! 
Come someone come forward, if you have seen then tell the truth 
Be it milk, be water, be a story of justice'
(differentiate between truth and lie)
Then the sparrow came forward, she told the truth

Crow was Exposed
This crow is of devious mind,
He was taken out of the meeting 
The soldier Vulture  came up, shaved the crow's head 
The wisdom of the Cranes has grown, since then everyone has recognized it!
